Consensus process.
Use of follow-on disease-modifying treatments for multiple sclerosis: Consensus recommendations (Mult Scler. 2022 Dec;28(14):2177-2189.). Coordination of the consensus group, contribution to the systematic literature review and the revision of the manuscript. This project was funded by unrestricted educational grants from Viatris, Synthon and GL Pharma.

Likewise global or national value dossiers were prepared for different (chronic) diseases or respective presentations for non-expert audiences were taken care of.

A summit.
Translating guidelines into clinical practice to provide practical guidance on common clinical questions. Project co-ordination from the expert summit in November 2018 to drafting and editing manuscripts for a supplement published in the Journal of Parenteral & Enteral Nutrition in February 2020 (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/toc/19412444/2020/44/S1). This project was performed on behalf of Fresenius Kabi GmbH, Bad Homburg, Germany.
Vitamin D and multiple sclerosis
A comprehensive review.
This review was written in collaboration with Mark Rametta (Bayer, USA) and Anthony Reder (University of Chicago, USA), and published in Neurology and Therapy (Neurol Ther. 2018;7(1):59–85). The article was among the five most popular articles in 2018 and 2019, in terms of downloads from SpringerLink (Sabbagh MN & Bertolotto A. Neurol Ther. 2018) and (Sabbagh MN & Bertolotto A. Neurol Ther. 2019) This project was supported by Bayer.
Interferon beta 1b
Interferon beta 1b following natalizumab discontinuation.
One year, randomized, prospective, pilot trial (Gobbi C, Meier DS, Cotton F, Sintzel MB, et al. BMC Neurol. 2013;13:101). Support of the team at the Civico Hospital in Lugano, Switzerland, to design and conceptualize the study and revising the manuscript for intellectual content. Project supported by Bayer Switzerland.
