Dr. Martina B. Sintzel

Is the founder and partner of „mcs.medical communication services“, which she has built-up and expanded since 2008 (www.ms-mcs.ch). As a division of 2B invincible AG, the company is specialized in medical communication, medical education, medical affairs, and commercialization services for pharma and biotech organizations. Martina Sintzel has implemented numerous international and national projects in the areas of neurology (especially multiple sclerosis), parenteral nutrition, nephrology, oncology, cardiology, and medical devices.

Previously, Dr Sintzel headed the “Scientific Communications” and “External Medical Expert Management” areas for the European multiple sclerosis team in Berlin, at the headquarters of Schering AG (today Bayer AG).

In this function, she was responsible for scientific communication or medical education projects, as well as projects for though leaders, specialists, general practitioners, pharmacists, nurses and patients. Until 2003, she was responsible as product and project manager „Betaferon“. At the time, Betaferon was the top-selling multiple sclerosis drug in the Swiss market.

Dr Sintzel studied pharmacy at the ETH Zurich and then did her PhD in pharmaceutical technology at the University of Geneva. She is fluent in German, English, French and Italian. As a committee member of the Foundation of the Society for Industrial Pharmacists, she is committed to the concerns of future industrial pharmacists. In her free time, she enjoys sports and is interested in design and architecture. She is president of the Seeclub Küsnacht (ZH), a rowing club with around 250 active members.
